Today, we found that the National Health Commission of China released the latest epidemic prevention and control policies on December 26, 2022. There is one policy closely related to our international students studying in China. From January 8, 2023, quarantine measures will no longer be implemented for people infected with the new coronavirus. Quarantine infectious disease management measures will no longer be adopted for entry personnel. The specific policy information is as follows:
Persons coming to China should undergo a nucleic acid test 48 hours before departure. Those with a negative result can come to China without applying for a health code from our embassy or consulate abroad, and fill in the result in the customs health declaration card. If positive, relevant personnel should come to China after turning negative. Nucleic acid testing and centralized isolation for all staff after entry will be canceled. Those who have a normal health declaration and no abnormality in the routine quarantine at the customs port can be released to enter society. The number of control measures for international passenger flights such as "five ones" and passenger load factor restrictions will be canceled. All airlines continue to do a good job in on-board epidemic prevention, and passengers must wear masks when boarding. Further optimize arrangements for foreign nationals coming to China, such as the resumption of work and production, business, study abroad, family visits, reunions, etc., and provide corresponding visa convenience. Passenger entry and exit at sea and land ports will be gradually resumed.
China has opened its borders, from January 8, 2023, international students can enter China with a 48-hour nucleic acid negative certificate and no quarantine is required. Welcome international students to study in China and we will pay more attention to the changes in the entry policy, and then notify all our CUCAS international students in time. Meanwhile, please follow our Tribe-Study in China Forum to get the latest entry news.
