#【Statistics】Study Master in China

Duration: 2~3 years

Number of Graduate Institutes in China: 827 (In China, the institutions that recruit and train master's students include both ordinary colleges and universities with master's programs and relevant scientific research institutions with postgraduate tranining qualifications.)

In China, ordinary postgraduates are divided into academic masters and professional masters. In 2017, about 58,600 Chinese Government Scholarship(CSC) Students from 180 countries studied in China, including about 40,800 postgraduate students, accounting for 69.57% of the total number of CSC scholarship students. In addition, there are many other kinds of scholarships for master students. It can be seen that master students with scholarship account for a large proportion.

# Eligibility:

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good physical and mental health and possess a valid foreign passport;

2. For those who were originally Chinese citizens and later became foreign nationals, and those who have acquired a foreign nationality at birth, one or both of the parents are Chinese citizens and have resided in a foreign country, are subject to the regulations as stated in Document No. 12 [2020] of the P.R.C Ministry of Education and applicants must submit relevant supporting documents;

3. Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.

1. The biographic page of your passport

2. Bachelor’s Degree Certificates.

3. Transcripts of all courses taken when pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.

4. Two recommendation letters by professors or assistant professors.

5. Research Proposal.

6. Language Proficiency Certificate such as HSK 4~6, IELTS/TOEFL, Chinese/English Proficiency Certificate (if you are non-native speaker).

7. Foreigner Physical Examination Form.

8. No criminal record certificate.

9. Statement of Financial Support through a Guarantor and its supporting documents.

10. Proof of employment (if applicable).

11. Abstract(s) of essay(s)/graduation thesis/a list of publications (if applicable).

12. Certificate of Awards

13. Supervisor Acceptance Letter.

14. Recent ID-photo with white background.

15. Resume/CV
