Students under 18 years old are required to provide two copies of notarization (a copy of personal ID for Chinese Citizens; a temporary residence permit for non Beijing residents). It can be obtained at the Beijing notary public office. One of the copies is used for the JW202 form application, the other one for applying for the residence permit.

Applying for a student visa under 18 requires extra documentation and careful planning. Parents or legal guardians usually need to provide consent letters, proof of relationship, accommodation arrangements, and financial support documents. Schools often assist with admission letters and guardianship requirements, making the process smoother. To avoid delays, it’s essential that all educational and personal documents are properly verified and legalized through Pakistan Document Attestation Services, ensuring they are accepted by embassies and foreign institutions without issues.
