With student ID, students can go to university library. Student classrooms are open for all students. As long as the classrooms are not for any class, foreign students can study there.

Most Chinese universities I've visited allow international students full access to the library — you just need your student ID card to enter. Some campuses have specific international student reading rooms too, which can be quieter. As for attending Chinese student classrooms for audit purposes, it depends on the university and professor, but many are open to it if you ask politely. Getting a library card usually takes a few weeks after enrollment once your registration is processed. Worth checking with your university's international student office as policies do vary between institutions.
