After completing my primary education in Singapore my family moved to Bangalore which is the IT capital of India and I had completed my schooling from the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Board or in short known as ICSE until the tenth grade which is even now considered the toughest education stream in INDIA. During my years at school I was always an enthusiast and also held the title as the Schools famous soccer player which did run for a couple of years until after a fatal on field collusion with another player which concluded my path to soccer thereafter. I was a student who had also sought the passion to become a successful person, in either of the fields that I felt was the right choice for me. After all every kid would dream of becoming a successful person and get a job that is recognized by everyone. Although I might’ve thought in a similar way I had a different approach to this. I wanted to employ rather than being employed by another and then a thought of mine turned into a solution for many at large and then began my Entrepreneurial Journey from my 9th grade. I was partially influenced by Business icons that I had kept reading and hearing about on the news channels while my dad saw and I waited my turn to watch what I wanted right after. There was one person whom I had liked the most and a quote of his that stuck in my head ever since I heard: “You don’t learn to walk by following rules. You learn by doing and falling over again” said Sir Richard Branson , Founder of Virgin Group. Although he referred to obstacles in our daily life I had reconstructed it from an Entrepreneurial point of view to give myself a better feel of starting Business. Businesses required to Capital to grow and my parents supported this idea of mine which made it even easier for me to pursue this path, which continuing my schooling. Just a couple of months after the launch I had landed Microsoft as my first client for my Business and gradually with two other companies one after the other in the following year. As an Entrepreneur I tried to understand the Global Market and its opportunities for future perspectives and I saw a great deal of Business in the Electrical Vehicle Ventures Domestically and Globally as well. I felt it was a great time and opportunity and got to interested into this new idea. I did my research and came out with a fully functional Electric Cycle by retrofitting. I considered starting a Venture with the Electrical Cycles as a notion to being the first E-Cycle venture affordable to the common man & is currently in the Research and Development stage as I mention. It was very clear to me that I wanted to follow this path and had pretty much explained why I had to pursue Business Management courses. I completed my 11th and 12th in the American stream NWAC(North-West Accreditation commission ) and was given an American High School Diploma Certificate upon Graduating. I had pursued my High School from this Board solely for attaining a Globally recognized certificate which would open doors for me into Business Universities Abroad. I felt Networking was a beneficial factor from pursuing International Business Management (IBM) Course from China. The number of contacts and ideas that come together from a diversified Environment is just something too big to learn. Pursuing IBM from China, would also mean that I could mold my skills as an Entrepreneur and experience the practicalities of Businesses on a Global scale. I looked up for the right Universities that suited my need for knowledge and found Beijing Institute of Technology. I think it is the best choice for me to learn more about various cultural aspects including Chinese culture, Language, Diversity and its way of Businesses. China being the emerging leader and global power in the 21st century, learning the culture and language would help me connecting the two super powers of Asia as a part of establishing my business and also connect with the Chinese entrepreneurs… a dream for young entrepreneur like me to associate with and work with. For me I strongly feel I should pursue my career from BIT, China as it would give me the right learning I need and would be further helping me out in setting up a platform for myself in boosting the growth of my career and there given an opportunity would like to pursue my International Business Management course from one of the oldest universities in Asia. On the fun side I see an opportunity to see the country that has stood time and again, as the leader of social causes across the globe and as the emerging super power. As I am working on my new project, which is connected to affordable electric bicycles, it is a great opportunity for me to initiate it right in the world’s electric mobility capital, which is China. Post my study at BIT, I plan to use the skills and Knowledge that have acquired to the best advantage in International Business Management and start a new career to a successful journey. Furthermore I am interested in gaining more Knowledge to pursue my MBA from CIBS, provided I am given an opportunity.
