1. I chose the Communication University of China (CUC) because my passion for the field of communications which started when I contested and was successfully elected as the president of my high school press club during my Senior Secondary School days commensurate with the quality of the courses offered and excellent academic standard of the Communication University of China. This passion led me to further my study at the United Method University where I studied a Degree course majoring in Mass Communication, completing with excellent grades. Even though, I combined work with full time schooling, I still managed to obtain a GPA of 2.9, an achievement which could not have been possible without determination and commitment. 2. After a thorough research, I discovered that the Communication University of China is among world leading universities providing excellent academic and practical training in the field of journalism and communications. For this and many more reasons that cannot be over emphasized, I therefore seek the opportunity to study International Master of International Communication. 3. Also after a glance through the course modules, I realized that it also places emphasis on research, an area I love and wish to develop my capacity in. 4. Furthermore, the Communication University of China is supported by my sponsor for scholarship that I am applying for which is MOFCOM
