PERSONAL STATEMENT

In this world of technology, it is an undeniable fact that computer usage is a driving force behind many successful businesses and corporations. In light of this, it has become imperative to have mastery over the use of ICT in our day-to-day activities in order to be apart with the fast moving world. I have always had the dream of becoming an expert in the area of ICT in order to affect my generation and make a meaningful impact in the economy of my country. Having gained some knowledge in this area from my previous education, I wish to improve on it by taking a course in Computer Science and Technology hence my request for admission in the Department of B.Eng. in Computer Science in your highly reputed University. This, I believe will serve the interest of my country and my people. I would like to be a computer scientist in the future. In line with my career objective, your institution will serve as a platform to perfect my knowledge and acquire the necessary skills in order to excel in my career. Having checked on your University Website, it has become clear to me that your University offers the best platform for me to excel hence my application. By this, I should be able to play a very important role in bridging the gap between the Human Resource and technological needs of my country.
