Growing up, imagining myself sitting among my peers debating over practical and theoretical concepts, which allows one to think critically has always been the drive behind applying to University of international Business and Economics. The significant number of cases taught to students to broaden their horizon, and to give them an understanding of how managers make decisions, enhances the decision making and the ability to analyze a situation in a business environment. UIBE has much more to offer and hasn’t restricted itself to just extensive academics. I have opted for Business Administration course as it gives knowledge and understanding about different business functions such as marketing, finance and management. This enables one to make policies and develop new methods of carrying various daily activities. It aids in the professional development of students and allows them to improve their communication as well presentation skills, which have become very important in today’s day and age and also encourages and promotes team work, something company’s all over the world are looking for. Furthermore, the course enables students to think like managers as modules such as market research, operations management as well as entrepreneurship is offered as electives allowing them to analyze and develop strategies to run the business successfully.
