Living in an area which is rich in hydro carbons, many national and international companies exploring different fields getting oil and gas production, the kind of job people do there, that kind of fascinated me a lot about the petroleum world. And besides I live in a country which is on the verge of extreme economic development, so we have an ever increasing shortage of Energy and electricity failures are frequent here, which affect our daily life a lot in scorching sun. Shortage of energy in our country, job schedule, opportunity to travel a lot, purely applied field, and promising career were some of the motives that compelled me to choose petroleum and gas engineering as my major in university. Having majored in the petroleum engineering from Balochistan University of information technology engineering and management sciences (BUITEMS), which is one of the very few universities, providing a major in Petroleum and Gas engineering in our country and owns the first-class petroleum engineering department. I learnt a great deal of specialized knowledge, which include, petroleum geology, oil reservoir physics, heat and mass transfer, basics of reservoir engineering, engineering fluid mechanics, oil production engineering and drilling engineering. My scholastic performance has always made me stand distinguished from every one throughout my degree program. Besides academics, I was actively involved in all co-curriculum activities including lectures and programs arranged by SPE, student affairs and sports directorate activities. I have completed my Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering with CGPA of 3.24 out of 4.00 which is equivalent to 80.98% as per HEC grading. I have been actively involved in research throughout my undergraduate’s studies. As a part of my undergraduate degree, I completed a research-based project in my final year of B.Sc. Engineering. with group of six other students, worked on project titled as, “A comparative study of well intervention techniques”. The study of petroleum engineering at a graduate level is a crucial step in my professional life. I believe that the Xi’an Shiyou University has great rapport with the industry can provide excellent opportunities to work on real time projects and network with professionals. I am highly excited to be interacting with engineers, academics and professionals from various backgrounds. In addition, the school's direct association to the industry provides a great opportunity to work on real time projects. I am confident that I have the preparations and potentials to prove an asset to your graduate program as a graduate student and as an assistant with research duties. I believe my outstanding capabilities of research, prominent mathematical ability and superior logical thinking will lead me into the Xi’an Shiyou University. The Xi’an Shiyou University has a very strong faculty and advanced research facilities. It offers impressive research-intensive programs. Such an academic environment agrees very well with my academic and research interests. It is my conviction that, your prestigious university, will introduce me to a more fascinating petroleum world. In my future program, I will continue to build up my theoretical knowledge, consolidate my basic skills, and learn the most recent advanced technologies. I look forward to joining Xi’an Shiyou University as a graduate student at your esteemed department. I earnestly believe that my degree program in the Xi’an Shiyou University will be a fruitful one and I will be one of the proud alumni of Xi’an Shiyou University leaving behind my quality research and academic’s. As for my future, I have to continue my studies to PhD level in order to truly accomplish my goal of becoming a professional engineer of Petroleum Engineering. Pursuing my master in the area of petroleum engineering will definitely enhance my perspectives, which I believe would be an advantage for my future career and would enable me to get an opportunity to create network with a global networks and with the people of common interests. Acquiring more advanced techniques and research as operated in China would also contribute to my great performance in the field.

Apart from the research work, I have studied about china as a country, and have realized that the Chinese society is advanced, open, and classless. The country is clean, beautiful, well-managed, and full of opportunities. Furthermore, I love the vibrant culture and how those colorful traditions are passed down to generations. All these reasons put together make china an ideal place for me to do my Master’s degree. And if given an opportunity I will not only strive to excel in my research, but also embed myself in the Chinese society.
