It is important of two reasons. One is due to my work exposure; the other is educational gap. I have about 25 (1991-2016) years of work experience which mainly related to team work & has development in character. I have served as a teacher, head of educational offices, Executive Councillor of Zone, Head of Woreda Agricultural and Rural development offices, Head of Woreda HIV/AIDS prevention and control office, Head of Zonal HIV/AIDS prevention and control office, Woreda Chief Administrator, head of Capacity Building Policy Inspection Department in the Office of the President, Planning & Programme Expert the Office of the President, Economic Affairs Administration Team Leader. I also worked as an Assistance Economic Affairs Advisor for Regional State President. Now I am working as a Deputy Head of Culture and Tourism of SNNPR State, Ethiopia. As a worker in different government position, i.e. teaching in school to top leadership position in the administrative organs from lower tiers of government to Regional State, I have gained a lot of practical knowledge and experience which I can bring to the field.

Therefore, I will be equipping myself through debater in the development theory and challenge I have faced. Then I think will give practical as well as theoretical skills and knowledge which I can practice. During this, I hope I will contribute in filling the gaps in policy action and academic. My future career plans in to work as policy practitioner or social worker in the local levels. In regard to this, I have a plan to be an informed professional that can useful to plan, implement and evaluate social development work in my area of specialization toward to the regional state and the country development at large and Millennium Development Goals
