After much contemplation and investigation into studying in China I believe this will be the best University for me. I have been studying Mandarin for at my College for about a year and believe the next step is for me to immerse myself in the culture and language. Throughout the web I have found that many agree that the Chinese Language program at the Jiao Tong University is the best. Adjectives such as impactful, incredible and helpful were typical in reviews of the University. Through the reviews I've heard the staff at the school will be offering complete cooperation making sure you understand and excel through the language program.. There has been nothing but positivity from people who have taken the program at the University, making me very curious and excited to apply for myself. The University itself is highly regarded with the nickname the "mit of the east" and it would be an honor to attend a year of education at such a high caliber education establishment. An economic power of a city found in Shanghai will surely spark my interest as I continue my path of learning Mandarin. The mix of Western and Eastern influences throughout Shanghai will perhaps ease me into my transition of China whilst also being in a geographical position to explore many other territories and dialects. I believe this university is the one for me to truly excel, and achieve my end goal of learning an incredibly beautiful and important language.
