Currently many technologies are used for energy production & conservations. The application of Nanotechnology in energy conservation and energy production has been found more efficient and cost-effective ways for providing the sustainable and environmental friendly energy resources. Fabrication of low cost and more efficient devices like solar cells, fuel cells, photovoltaic cell, rechargeable batteries and supercapacitors has become possible because of ever growing research in nanotechnology. Pakistan is facing huge energy crisis now a days.The proposed project is directly linked with the energy conservation. The research facilities necessary for this project is fewer in our laboratories. I feel that there should be a laboratory in which research associated with energy conservation could be carried out. For this purpose my exposure to the world leading institution in abroad is extremely necessary. Using Nanotechnology i want to fabricate low cost and more efficient devices especially;rechargeable batteries, solarcells and supercapacitors. Following are main feature of study. a- To fabricate the Graphene and Graphene based composites using different synthesis techniques b- Structural and morphological characterization of synthesized nanomaterials using XRD, SEM, TEM, AFM, XPS etc c- Fabrication of electrode from the synthesized nanomaterials d- Electrochemical characterization of fabricated devices using different techniques . To complete my project I want to get admission in this university
