I have reviewed the course contents of Shanghai Jiaotong University and it falls perfectly in line with my career goals. The acquisition of any of these skills are necessary to improve telecommunications and ICT development in my country. The recent landing and commissioning of the ACE Submarine Fiber Optic cable in Sierra Leone warrants advance skills for proper management. Skills that are severely lacking. The ICT policy of the country is on the verge to be developed and the telecommunications act revised. I believe if given the opportunity to study higher degree at Master level at Shanghai Jiaotong University, I would be in a position to contribute positively to these processes and influence decision making at the highest levels.
