At the age of 13, I was able to attend the 2006 youngsters of Overseas Chinese Origin Winter Camp, which took place in Jinan University. It was a very memorable experience, which definitely motivated me to learn the Chinese language and culture, and to improve the skills that I had already acquired during the course. It was mentioned that this school offers great Chinese Language courses for foreign origin students, and focuses on education for overseas Chinese origin students who would like to improve their Chinese language skills and reconnect with their roots. Also, as someone whose family comes from the province of Guangdong, and also has family members residing in the city of Guangzhou, Jinan University is the most eligible option.
