I would relish the opportunity to study in one of Shanghai's oldest universities with a global connection of over 14 nations. I would like to tap into the life and culture in Shanghai and learn and understand more as well as gain a deeper appreciation of Chinese language and culture. Studying from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine will also enable me to learn more about Chinese medicine and other methods of curing ailments as practiced by the Chinese people. It will also help me join a globalised network of scholars sharing and learning from each other on the different perspectives in development and language learning especially Chinese.
