Applicants require very good grades to get into Fudan. GPA 3.5 is a minimum required by the university.

For classes that are taught in Chinese, you generally need to know enough Chinese to be HSK level 4 or higher driving directions. If the school is taught in English, you might need to take a test like the TOEFL or IELTS to show that you know English well enough.
