I would like to join this University since the Chinese program they offer seems to be perfectly suitable with my interests. I studied Chinese at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore for three years and now I really want to spend few months in China in order to improve my Chinese. After considering different universities in Shanghai, I thought Donghua University was the best one in offering complete Chinese classes: Italian university classes are known to be huge and it was very difficult for us to speak chinese and, at the same time, it was very difficult for our teachers to understand what were our needs and what were the best exercises to do in order to improve our Chinese. Donghua University program offers speaking, listening and reading classes in small groups of students that is exactly what I was looking for. In addition, Donghua University is well-known to be an international university; this means meeting people from all over the world, sharing the problems we will meet in the study of Chinese and helping each other facing them. Last but not least, I considered the location of Donghua University: Shanghai is a vibrant city, rich of incentives, and I have always dreamt about living there. In conclusion, choosing Chinese Program B of General Chinese at Donghua University would mean combine my desire to be more fluent in Chinese and living an amazing experience of life in Shanghai.
