Investigating major problems in Irrigation and Drainage, Rain Water Harvesting, Groundwater development.
Reviewing previous research finding reports, assessing experiences from researchers, senior experts and local community.
Propose research works on the thematic areas of Irrigation and Water Management.
Conduct experiments in laboratory and in field using appropriate materials and methodologies.
Monitor and evaluate the experiments, collect all necessary data’s.
Analyze and interpret data’s using appropriate tools.
Report findings and prepare technical manual for end users.
Offer training on the technologies that promote irrigation development with their full technology package to Farmers, Water Users, Development Agents and Irrigation Extension Experts.
Plan and Design Water Harvesting, Deep & Shallow well structures and Irrigation Projects
Conduct research activities across disciplines through team approach.
