Nanchang is the political, economic, cultural and technological center of Jiangxi Province. Its forest coverage is 65.1%, ranking the second largest in the world. Nanchang covers an area of 7,402 square kilometers and has a population of 5,545,500. It is a famous historical city, a landscape capital, an emerging industrial, dynamic and beautiful city in China.

A Historical City: Nanchang is a famous city with a long history and profound culture of more than 2200 years, enjoying the reputation of “the birth place of creative minds and gifted talents”. A Dynamic and Beautiful City: Nanchang borders the first largest fresh-water lake in China - the Poyang Lake, lying in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. There is high-speed railway connecting Nanchang with many famous cities in China. It takes 2.5 hours to fly to Beijing, 1.5 hours to fly to Shanghai or Guangzhou.
