In Pakistan most of the companies are performing operational activities. However, there is very little struggle when it comes to research. I feel that there is a need for awareness and efforts to reduce this gap between research and industry. According to my knowledge most of the universities in china, especially Ningbo University work very close to industry. Therefore, I believe that there is a need to bring such research culture in universities and industries in Pakistan. Studying in one of the best universities, working in different research centers has intensified my enthusiasm to learn. I want to pursue my career in the field of electrical and power engineering. I believe that formal education in the field of electrical and power engineering in your prestigious program will give me an opportunity to learn about the emerging technologies and will prepare me to collaborate with local universities to promote research culture in Pakistan. As electrical and power engineering is one of the evergreen fields, I believe that receiving education in this domain will help me in attract better career opportunities and will help me in bringing the research culture in Pakistan.
