My reasons for choosing this university were not based on the fact that I got a promotional email informing me that application was now free, yes I must admit it was a boost in morale, but it were based on the following points; Ningbo university offers courses in English which is a major relief and most important factor for me as an international student, it means I will not have to worry about learning the language as much as I would if the course was offered in Chinese, this gives me more time to actually concentrate on my studies and lectures. It was the main reason that led me to choose this university.

There are lot other advantages Ningbo offers that led me to my decision, to begin with, the university offers my course of interest and at affordable tuition fee, this does not just strike as a pro but also an added bonus for me, it means I can enjoy my time at the university without having to worry so much about cost. Many other universities lack one cardinal aspect that Ningbo proudly boasts of, a serene environment. A nice environment helps me calm my nerves and concentrate on the task at hand, while this might not be the case for others, it unfortunately is for me, and I must say, It's something I indulge.

Although there might be other reasons like infrastructure of the school and beauty of the city it's located in, the ones mentioned above are my key factors leading to this decision of choosing Ningbo university as my study destination.
