I've got a 2015 Lexus GS350 sitting at about 145k km and the transmission has started feeling a little jerky when shifting from second to third, especially when the car is cold. Nothing dramatic yet but I want to deal with it before it turns into something serious. Here's the problem though, I've asked four different people and gotten four different answers. One guy said never touch the transmission fluid at this mileage because it'll make things worse. Another said drain and fill only. A third said do a full flush. And the fourth told me to just drive it until something breaks which sounds insane to me. I'm leaning toward finding a certified Lexus specialist in Al Nahda Sharjah who actually knows these Aisin gearboxes and can tell me what's appropriate for my mileage instead of guessing. I came across 800sayara during my search and they seem to focus specifically on Lexus which is different from the generic garages I've been calling. Has anyone done a transmission service on a high mileage GS and did it help or hurt? Genuinely confused at this point.
