I chose this university because it is located in the beautiful coastal city of Dalian. I heard that for studying Chinese,the city of Dalian has only a relatively small Western community, so it will be easier to make progress in chinese.Howewer, it is a university for foreign languages so I think the language courses will be appropriate for foreigners. What is more, Dalian is relatively clean and modern, and I think that getting around is not too difficult.
