My choosing reasons for this university can be devided in two categories: 1.The university 2.The city 1: The university has a good reputation. In the national rankings it is in the top sector and also under many Chinese I talked to it has a good reputation. I think the learning conditions at the Southwest University are good and after looking at all aspects (studying,course,facility,living) I feel like it is a place where I feel very comfortable to stay 4 years long. 2: Chongqing is one of Chinas key cities. I like the city very much. The food, culture and the life you find there is not so western influenced as in the coast cities. Probably because there are not as many foreigners in Chongqing, which is also reason why I like the city. The chance to get to know the "Chinese way of life" is there higher. It is also one of the fast growing cities in China, in the future it's role will be even more important and the perspective in industry and studying there is really good.
