I wish to undertake a 5-week short-term Chinese language program at Jilin University to enhance my Chinese language skills. I have been living and working in China/Hong Kong for the past few years, and have a deep passion for Chinese culture and the country itself, and believe this language program will greatly assist to improve my currently limited Chinese speaking proficiency. I selected Jilin University due to its prestigious reputation, with it being one of the best and most renowned universities in China. It would be a great honour to be able to study the Chinese language at Jilin University this summer.
