I am a graduate in Mathematics from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, Pakistan. I joined Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad as a research associate in 2009, where I collaborated with a number of researchers in the field of Applied Mathematics. I specifically learned Finite Difference Method (FDM), Finite Element Method (FEM) and Mesh generation and applied these methods in the solution of physical problems which developed my interest in this particular field. Moreover, I solved Partial Differential Equations by FDM and FEM over structured and unstructured meshes. I have also compiled a MATLAB code for generation of unstructured meshes using Advancing Front Technique. I am keen to pursue my career in this field and aspired to become a research professional. One of the reasons I am applying for MS Applied Mathematics at Central China Normal University is its specialist teaching and research groups. I am especially interested in joining Computational Mathematics Research Group or Nonlinear PDE Research Group. I would like to work on solution of non-linear partial differential equations by FEM and FDM through the use of programming tools like MATLAB and C/C++ language. Moreover, this opportunity would help me best with my academic pursuits and will be a major step towards achieving my career objectives. I would be grateful if I am given an opportunity to pursue my MS in Applied Mathematics at your world-renowned institution. In addition to that, China itself offers a great cultural diversity and is a replete and extremely competitive scientific world for which I have a lot of admiration and respect.
