My passion to do medicine started when I began learning biology in school. From general biology to biological systems each class seemed to get more interesting with new discoveries. This made me appreciate the human body more as I learned about the way that we are made to function and just how accurately all the systems in our body work together to keep us breathing. I found it incredibly fascinating that a two-stranded molecule called DNA contained all the biological instructions half from my mother, half from my father to make me as unique as I am. For me learning about the way this molecule is put together so precisely to be able to encode an organism’s phenotype was extremely intriguing and biology then became my favorite subject and I knew I wanted to be a doctor. This love for biology is what led me to do a week of work experience in Anandaban Hospital here in Nepal shadowing doctors trying to learn about the profession I wanted to be a part of so desperately in my future. Furthermore it was still this fascination with biology that led me to start tutoring year 12 students at my high school with A-level biology. I want to study MBBS at Zhejiiang University because firstly, it has amazing reviews; it is one of the best universities in China for medicine and I know it will certainly help me combine my love for biology and medicine and guide me in the right path to become a well-informed doctor. When you choose being a doctor as a career you are undertaking the responsibility of dealing with human lives. This undoubtedly means that you have to be the absolute best at what you do because human life comes at no cost. You have to train at great institutions such as Zhejiang University which will provide you with top class clinical facilities and well-informed professors who are there to guide you every step of the way to make you the best doctor you can be. My second reason for wanting to be at Zhejiang University is because it has students from all over the world. Starting from grade 2, I have been studying at international schools for 11 years. Having this kind of multi-cultural experience has made me more appreciative and understanding of the different kinds of cultures and religions that exist around the world. It has made me more open minded and taught me how our differences do not divide us but bring us together as we have so much to learn from each other. Being able to also have this kind of experience at university would be so enriching and enhance the experience of studying MBBS at Zhejiang University even more because being a doctor is all about interacting with people and what better way to do it than to learn from each and every person you meet. Lastly, Zhejiang University is one of the universities that is recognized by PMDC and this makes it easier for me as I ultimately have to return back to Pakistan. This international experience at Zhejiang University will certainly provide me with the skills and expertise needed as a doctor to go back to my country and serve my people.

I also have a strong passion for medicine and in the near future I also intend to study for a master's degree in China. I'm very confused and don't know which university to choose?
