From autumn 2007 to autumn 2013 I was a student at the University of Oslo, studying for a Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese and Korean language. As well as being interested in Chinese language and culture, I’ve always had a big interest in computer science and technology. I now therefore seek to obtain a degree at the Sun Yat-Sen University, so that I can be part of the rapid development we now see within the field of technology, and enrich my future understanding and acquire a better insight to the challenges the growing scale of technology might provide upon us. The Sun Yat-Sen University is consistently ranked among the best Universities in China and I’ve heard the University has a beautiful campus, as well as good facilities, and excellent professors and teachers. China is a world leader and among the most innovative countries in the world when it comes to computer science and technology. I therefore believe a degree at the Sun Yat-Sen University will help me in my search of a prospective profession.
