The main motivations behind my application are: 1) Understanding macroeconomic challenges, business economics and international trade issues to trigger socio economic development and well being of the Mozambique people has always been my passion. This is because, as every one believes in the Country, Mozambique is plenty of potentialities, ranging from agriculture and agri-industry, through services such as tourism, ending in mineral resources, but the country and its population still face development and quality of life challenges. This is good opportunity for every one to contribute. 2) China has proven to be a shining example in attaining tangible and sustainable development of the country and continued improvement of people’s quality of life, albeit it’s big population and adverse global competition. In addition, China succeeded by identifying and pursuing its own solutions to the development challenges. Hence, China is very good learning case, both in terms of science, policies and, most important, people’s attitude. 3) It is my believe that studying in China would expose me to the best theoretical and scientific information, as well as practical information on economic policy studies, investment incentives and attraction, business development and management, project feasibility studies and business plans, finances, trade barriers and the ways for overcoming, to mention, but a few subjects that interest me. 4) UIBE is a well renown University in economics, finance and trade, special that of international relevance, hence, a good university to pursue.
