Ocean university has a number of about 36,243 students according to statistics of 2016. This Large number of students also means a bigger community, which creates more opportunities and a dizzying array of activities. Students choose to participate in a wide range of extra-curricular activities and academic organizations. This means students, are often able to create sub-communities that make students feel even more at home hence making it more attractive to me.

In addition,because of huge number of students,the school offers degrees in just about every academic field i can think of, and often boast specialized programs in very specific and less popular areas of study. This wealth of academic departments usually top-notch professors and researchers, create intellectually rigorous programs and pass their enthusiasm on to their students. This is some thing needed in the world today.

The university is one of the top universities in Asia and in the country being ranked as number 138 and 47 respectively. This matters as well, i will be going where some of the best obtain their education.

Also students who interact with racially and ethnically divers peers both informally and within classrooms have the greatest intellectual engagement and motivation, active thinking and academic skills which i feel Ocean University of China has the capacity to provide.
