China Govt. Scholarships have benefitted many of my peers and colleagues in my country. Their experiences of availing higher education in China are more than encouraging. Friends and peers from Pakistan have found China academically enriching, intellectually progressing but most importantly a home away from home. Diversity and tolerance have been cited as hallmarks of China culture. The magnanimous culture, serene environs and quality educational institutions are added incentives for opting China as a destination for higher studies. After going through the overview of the subject, i believe a master degree in geoscience will benefit me and my country by: 1. Enabling me to synthesize my existing qualification with more sophisticated knowledge and skills of geoscience and research. 2. Providing me an opportunity to build on my abilities of serving my country in the field of planning and development. 3. Allowing me to learn more geological techniques and apply towards building further my career as well as development of my country.

Coming from a developing country, there is a great need for research and planning in our area. There is high need for professional skills to be utilised towards improved planning based upon proper geological techniques both in public and private sector. I believe this course of study will enable me to contribute productively toward the development of Pakistan. I expect to improve and enhance my skills and knowledge in the following aspects:

i. Geological analysis of factors which are hampering the pace and scope of a development. ii. Organization and optimum utilization of geological data generated by private sector of Pakistan about any relevant administrative and developmental issue. iii. Utilization and introduction of standard method of planning and research iv. To mention a specific action, i would want to transfer standard skill and knowledge of geoscience and research to my country.
