Dear Sir or Madam, I would like to express my interest in studying at the University of Bohai with this letter. I am currently doing my last year at a vocational high school in Hungary. As a final-year student with determination I decided to study for a Bachelor Degree in Department of Tourism Management starting in 2016 September. The principal reason why I want to undertake the curriculum is because the degree programme has a highly good reputation. In addition I am sure it would strongly enrich my future studies and help me in my prospective career to be more experienced. Moreover, I consider this programme as an excellent opportunity to get to know the English culture and educational system. My decision to study there because the university’s relationship with foreign students is the best as they make them feel welcome. The most interesting part of the program for me is that the programme emphasizes on the field of tourism training in China. What is more the program’s aim for the students to adapt to the needs of modern tourism development with high management theories . Also, it provides an opportunity to learn how to develop our entrepreneuiral ability. Last but not least, I am very keen on different approaches of China’s culture. And also being a part of this unforgettable program, taking new experiences and get in touch with the living circumstances in China. During my high school studies, I was studying Economics and Marketing management. I have learnt the fundementals of marketing, accounting and I acquired the basic knowledge of entrepreneurship - how to start-up different company forms – and gained some insight into maketing management in which I have dealt with coplex issues that are crucial for the success of multinational firms. In present time I am mainly interested Tourism I have always loved Asian cultures and I really respect them due to my Vietnamese origin. I have strong communication skills in Vietnamese and in Hungarian, in English and in Chinese. The former two languages, I speak fluently because I am using them in every day life. English language, which is my second language I have been studying it since I was ten years old. Last but not least I have been studying Chinese for nearly 3 years. Moreover, I have I attended a 2-months language course in Beijing that really improved my language skills. While studying in China I have learnt important life experiences. At the end of the course I obtained a certificate which proves the knowledge of intermediate language level. Being alone in an unknown place among unknown people required me to trust myself and grow independent. During my stay in China, I was living alone, I had to take care of myself. This unforgettable wisdom also taught me to be truly self-reliant and responsible for everything I have done. I gained new perspective on my life and gave me the ability to adapt to new situations. In addition, not only my Chinese but my English has also improved a lot on this trip. I have a part time job as an English tutor in a well-known language school in Hungary. Through this, I obtained more confidence and improved my interpersonal communication skills. This has also given me a working experience and a cooperation technique with other people. Given my past history of commitment to excellence and my academic profile, I am convinced that I will bring a high level of energy and eargeness to your program. I am sure to exceed your expectations due to my plans full of motivation and persistence gained from my supportive teachers. I will enrich the program by enabling fellow students and professors to benefit from my ambitious and open nature and also with my endless ideas. I am comfortable in teams, enjoy working with others for a common goal. After graduation I would like to work connection with managing, planning, consulting and other work of various types of tourism related enterprises. I would be honored if you decide to accept my candidateship to be a student at the University of Bohai. Thank you for considering my application, and I look forward to your acceptance. Yours sincerelly, Szilvia Dudás
