1161 Rózsa Street 58 Budapest, Hungary Mobile: +36705992661 E-mail: dudasszilvi@yahoo.com Dear Sir or Madam, I would like to express my interest in studying at the University of Wenzhou with this letter. I am currently doing my last year at a vocational high school in Hungary. As a finalyear student with determination I decided to study for a Bachelor degree program in Department of International Economy and Trade starting in 2016 September. The principal reason why I want to undertake the curriculum is because the degree programme has a highly good reputation. In addition I am sure it would strongly enrich my future studies and help me in my prospective career to be more experienced. Moreover, I consider this programme as an excellent opportunity to get to know the Chinese culture and educational system. My decision to study in China is based on my desire to understand the society and become more informed about the Chinese culture. The most interesting part of the program for me is that the students could systematically grasp the basic priciple of economic, and Chinese economy. Last but not least, I am very keen on different approaches of a top university in Wenzhou. And also being a part of this unforgettable program, taking new experiences and get in touch with the living circumstances in China. During my high school studies, I was studying Economics and Marketing management. I have learnt the fundementals of marketing, accounting and I acquired the basic knowledge of entrepreneurship - how to start-up different company forms – and gained some insight into maketing management in which I have dealt with coplex issues that are crucial for the success of multinational firms. In present time I am mainly interested in economics and trade due to my high school background I already have the knowledge for studying in this field. I have strong communication skills in Vietnamese and in Hungarian, in English and in Chinese. The former two languages, I speak fluently because I am using them in every day life. English language, which is my second language I have been studying it since I was ten years old. Last but not least I have been studying Chinese for nearly 3 years. Moreover, I have I attended a 2-months language course in Beijing, that really improved my language skills. While studying in China I have learnt important life experiences. At the end of the course I obtained a certificate which proves the knowledge of intermediate language level. Being alone in an unknown place among unknown people required me to trust myself and grow independent. During my stay in China, I was living alone, I had to take care of myself. This unforgettable wisdom also taught me to be truly self-reliant and responsible for everything I have done. I gained new perspective on my life and gave me the ability to adapt to new situations. In addition, not only my Chinese but my English has also improved a lot on this trip. I have a part time job as an English tutor in a well-known language school in Hungary. Through this, I obtained more confidence and improved my interpersonal communication skills. This has also given me a working experience and a cooperation technique with other people. In my spare time I like listening to music which helps me relax, reading a wide variety of news, such as BBC and CNN. The latter helps me to keep up with current affairs and the global economy. I have extracurricular activites apart from studies. I have been playing tennis for eight years, and attended several championships. I obtained first place in mixed double which has taken place in Poland in 2014. Besides I also like spending time with jogging and doing yoga. Given my past history of commitment to excellence and my academic profile, I am convinced that I will bring a high level of energy and eargeness to your program. I am sure to exceed your expectations due to my plans full of motivation and persistence gained from my supportive teachers. I will enrich the program by enabling fellow students and professors to benefit from my ambitious and open nature and also with my endless ideas. I am comfortable in teams, enjoy working with others for a common goal. I would be honored if you decide to accept my candidateship to be a student at the University of Wenzhou. Thank you for considering my application, and I look forward to your acceptance. Yours sincerely, Szilvia Dudás
