The university offers Chinese language courses that are to my liking. The cost of the fees and accommodation are well within my budget. I have heard good reviews from students in India who have studied in the university.

Kunming is easily accessible from India. The cost of living is considerably lower than the bigger cities. The city is small enough that I can travel around fairly easily without my own means of transportation. The climate seems to be an exact copy of Bangalore, so I will have little problems dealing with it.
