Not sure if it's just me, but I totally fell down the vinyl rabbit hole over the past few months. I started out with a cheap record player just to see what the hype was about, and now I'm hunting for limited pressings and spending more time than I’d like to admit browsing vinyl websites.
There’s just something about holding a physical album, reading through the liner notes, and hearing that warm analog sound that hits different. It’s been a surprisingly calming ritual in the middle of all the noise.
I found this Canadian site called Microforum while looking for more info on pressing and production, and it really opened my eyes to how much actually goes into making a record. I’m low-key obsessed now with the whole process.
Curious if anyone else here got into vinyl recently? How did you start and what pulled you in? Would love to hear your stories and maybe get a few good album recommendations too.
