I was recently involved in a pretty bad bicycle accident where I got hit by a car while riding in a designated bike lane. Thankfully, I didn’t break anything, but I still ended up with a pretty bad bruise on my leg and some serious whiplash. The whole thing was really overwhelming, from the hospital visits to figuring out how to deal with insurance. It was such a confusing time, and I wasn’t sure whether to just let it go or pursue a case, especially when it wasn’t exactly clear who was at fault.
I’ve heard so many mixed opinions on whether it’s worth hiring an attorney after a bike accident. I’ve been reading a lot about legal help, but I’m still on the fence. Did anyone here go through something similar? How did you deal with the legal side of things, and was it worth it to pursue compensation? Would love to hear about your experiences and any tips you can share.
