A person who possesses a foreign nationality at birth does not have Chinese nationality if both or one of their parents are citizens of China and have relocated abroad, as stated in Article 5 of the People's Republic of China's Nationality Law. Beginning in 2021, in addition to fulfilling the other requirements of the school, applicants seeking admission as international students to our colleges and universities at the junior college level must also possess a valid foreign passport slice master or nationality certificate that has been valid for more than four years (inclusive) and the most recent four years possess documentation proving they have resided abroad for more than two years during the year (before April 30 of the admission year); nine months of actual foreign residence can be counted as one year, with entry and exit stamps taking precedence.
