I am a very bright student with excellent command over English. I gave my pre university 10th standard examination in 2010 with Physics Chemistry Math and secured 9 CGPA. Thereafter I continued with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Maths), and secured over 75% in the 12th Class CBSE Board examination. I got admission in a prestigious engineering college in Bangalore, and joined the same. I was increasingly disillusioned with the course and I do not have any interest in the subjects. I have spent almost 5 years appearing for the examinations, (completing 3 + years) before I decided I had to follow my passion. I am an active sports person having represented my college in football. I am very much an outdoors travelling person and this brought me look at Tourism industry as my field of passion. I have decided that in order to widen my horizon I need an international education in this sector. To this end I have begun French classes and completed A1 Part A. I have looked at education opportunities in Canada Australia and New Zealand amongst other countries. However I found the post study internship and work opportunities were few. I have been researching across other countries which have an emerging tourism sector, and China also looked promising. The fact that China is growing and its tourism sector, offers growth opportunities made me explore colleges in this space. University of Dongbei seems to offer the best mix of a Tourism College located in a Tourism port city, with numerous Hotels, combined with perfect mix of course duration and English delivery. I think I will be the perfect fit for this course and college and will be able to offer outstanding value in due course to the growth of tourism sector in China. I would not like to miss this opportunity of joining the September 2018 batch and am willing to do whatever to meet the deadline.
