Beijing is the capital of China, and therefore the best location to learn Chinese. It is where 'putonghua' first originated and can be thought of as the 'purest' chinese language. BCLCC is an excellent education institution that is well known for its Chinese language base and high quality teaching. Their goal is to increase understanding of chinese culture and language, which is also something that I am very passionate about. I believe it is the best location for me to achieve my goals and I am also drawn towards the variety of courses that are available such as chinese calligraphy and business chinese. In addition to this, the programme is designed flexibly to suit the needs of the student and if accepted I hope to join the intermediate or even advanced level class.
