Growing up as a child, I have always loved things that pertained the function and the structure of the human body. I studied physiology In Babcock University to create a strong foundation for the course which I ultimately want to study, Medicine. Studying Physiology in Nigeria served as an eye opener and a confirmation of my career path. The materials studied during my four-year course have further whet my appetite for understanding the human body and clinical practices. Furthermore, it has increased my curiosity regarding the physiology, the pathology and the anatomy of the body and fanned the flames of my career choice. After the tragic passing of my youngest sibling, due to a congenital abnormality, I felt powerless and bereft beyond reasoning. The grief I felt furthered my childhood aspirations to become a doctor so as to save as many lives as possible and thereby preventing others from experiencing the grief of the loss of a loved one. Furthering my studies in the Jiangsu University in the faculty of medicine would also serve as a strong foundation in my pursuit in Medicine. Holding a leadership position, as the financial Secretary of the department of Physiology in Babcock University, has improved my character, leadership skills and teamwork experience. Creating budgets and making financial decisions have helped my rationality and logicality. My journey so far was tough and filled with bumps but I refused to be deterred because my dream to become one of the best neurosurgeons in the world would only come to fruition with determination, focus and perseverance. Bearing this in mind, I inculcate these qualities into everything I do no matter how little or how big it might be. I am a strong believer in giving back to the community, therefore I volunteer to lecture kids on Sundays and guide them into becoming good people in the society. I see this as a platform to pass on knowledge to the younger generation and also to learn a few things. Since I have plans of coming back to my home country to become a doctor I believe studying abroad along with students of diverse culture would be a plus on my side. In my spare time I enjoy reading empowering books that help build my character and strengthen my will power. I did a bit of research on China, most especially Jiangsu. The serenity, ambience, otherworldliness and relative safety of Jiangsu has rather enticed me. The peaceful atmosphere, I believe, would settle in nicely with my personality. I have read good reviews online about the Jiangsu University and I believe it would be in my best interest to study in your great institution. Meeting and learning with students from different parts of the world would make my experience in the university exciting, different and interesting. Studying in China, would be a very good starting point for me and I believe I have what it takes to study abroad because, aside from my genuine interest in the materials involved, I believe I possess the skillset and mindset necessary to pursue a degree in Medicine, It would be a pleasure to study in the Jiangsu University. I hope with all the information I have provided about myself I would be given the opportunity to study in your institution. In conclusion, my parents are in support of my dreams and career path and this is why my father is sponsoring me. He is the managing Director of B.M Nig. Enterprises and Ultimate B.M Nig. Ltd. He has different investments and other landed properties. Feeding, tuition and living costs would not be a problem. Given my education a background, I am confident that I am an excellent fit for the medical program. I look forward to expanding my knowledge and skills in order to reach my full potential
