When I was in high school I decided to be an engineer and for that I worked hard and got admitted in the best engineering university of my country. I chose Materials Engineering as it was a relative new branch of engineering in Pakistan. During my study I realized that to be successful in this world, one must have best of both worlds which in this case is engineering and management. This belief was further solidified when I attended a seminar in which many alumni of our department also emphasized on this too and how it was helping them in the corporate world. So, I reshaped my goals and priorities and decided that after my graduation I will gain some experience in the market and then do my masters in a management course. Now after having some experience of this field I have found it true that one must have more than one skills to be successful and It is a right choice for me and my future career that I have a management degree which will bolster opportunities for me in my professional career. I have browsed through many universities around the world but as a Pakistani, Chinese universities offer the best possible studies and incentives. The scholarships and relatively less expensive education plans are a better option for me than to go for any other country. After completion of my studies I can come back and work in many Pakistani as well Chinese projects in Pakistan, as there are many Chinese run projects in Pakistani mainly under CPEC projects. This goes for the subject of my choosing "Project Management", as any organization running projects needs a person that could have better understanding of the tasks at hand. I strongly believe my Engineering background and management specialty will help me get in that position and to fulfill my goals of life. So a balanced Engineering and Management mixture is created.As for the academic reason, University’s course I’ve chosen has better content than the same subject offered by other institutes. I think this institute will help me in polishing my skills to put into use. This is why i chose this university.
