The University of Science and Technology Beiging has a world-wide reputation for being China’s most research-oriented university especially in the field of engineering. Moreover, it is supported by the Chinese Ministry of Education which gives the University and the students who are placed there a unique opportunity to make the best use of what the country can offer. This together with its past achievements, diversity in culture and extra-cirricular activities and international recognition makes it a first choice for most applications.

As an engineering student who has being in the field for over five years now, I cannot over-emphasize the importance of belonging to an environment that can have a postitive influence in your life and career. The University of Science and Technology Beiging hosts some of the world most brightest students. Also, its academic faculty and staff especially in the School of Materials Science and Engineering are one of the best you will find in the whole continent of Asia.

I am looking forward to making the best use of the resources they provide to further enrich and build myself to better contribute back to the world as a whole. Having gained a solid foundation from my masters and bachelors course in the various areas of Sofware Engineering and applications, I will be able to contribute to the community at USBT and learn a lot from other teammates.

The USBT has won quite a number of national prizes including been the one and only university in China receiving sponsorship from "National Major Science and Technology Infrastructure Project". It is my aim to add my name to list of students whose hardwork and persistence boosted the image of the university.

Finally, I am of the belief that USBT is among one of the few schools in China that will be able to bestow upon me the skills, experience, network and competence needed to survice in the technological industry all over the world.
