I have been learning Chinese for a few years, and after spending a semester in Shanghai Fudan University in Autumn 2017 I have felt the need to improve my language skills. I visited Xi'an for a few days, and felt like this city would be a good place for that. But I really want to study at Xi'an Jiaotong University because of its long lasting history and reputation. Because of that, Xi'an Jiaotong University is now a major university in China and in the world, with a lot a distinguished Teachers and many outstanding alumni such as Cai Yuanpei. I also believe that the principles and traditions of Xi'an Jiaotong University will benefit my education in the pursue of excellence and culture.
