East China Normal University is a highly ranked school in the heart of China's economic capital. Attending a good school in Shanghai will help me better understand the way China interacts with the world both politically through my studies, but also culturally, which will give me a more comprehensive understanding of my research. I chose this school because it is a perfect opportunity to grow academically and better understand China's international interactions.
