It was my ambition from the childhood to become a doctor and serve the community. To achieve this dream I selected to study for Cambridge Advanced Level examination in science stream. Next milestone in this journey is to enter a university to follow MBBS programme. I am keen in study abroad to broaden my perspectives and hence looked at foreign universities. My interest in China due to historical and close relationship with Sri Lanka, interested me to look for possible universities in China.

While looking at universities offering MBBS programmes in English, Zhejiang University took my attention due to multiple reasons. It is a high ranking university that is well recognized by Sri Lanka Medical Council. Having Within the introduction to MBBS programme published in the website, the highlights on research facilities attracted me very much.
