University of Electronic Science and Technology is located in Chengdu, a destination that has not been well known to international individuals. This aspect makes the location inviting since it gives a sense of new discovery and this has always interested me. This university is also a well ranked university in China and has good international collaborations with co-training agreements in place with over 60 overseas institutions. In the new technology advancing world, I believe that boarders between countries becomes a hindrance to further development of ideas hence the interest in this university.
