Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to request admission into the International trade program.
I appreciate this opportunity to introduce myself at your University and I perceive it as a perfect opportunity to support my application for the Master program in this field. With my educational background and my full practical experience, I strongly believe that I am a suitable candidate for that program.
With a desire to contribute in development and resolution of present challenges in a regional and international scales, I started studies in International Relations. I can say with confidence that the education we relieved by the internationally experienced professors is the best that could be in the region. Teaching was conducted based on the actual agenda. Simultaneously, there we learned importance of liberal values and objectivity.
The most appreciable is ability to use this knowledge in practice, both in researches and in work. I participated in lots of activities like MUNs, EYPs and Parliament simulations, that I was acknowledged with awards. Furthermore, there were ranges of extracurricular seminars and non-formal-education projects: studies on “Corruption”, “Business Law” and “International Law” by ELSA, on “Gender inclusiveness”, “Diversity”, “Community matching” by YEU; trainings on project management, media, refugee issues, etc by ICMPD, IMO, Delegation of EU, and others organized within Erasmus+.
Starting from internships in organizations like American Chamber of Commerce and NOCs headed by Ministry of Culture, I began working in international environments. It continued joining Islamic Solidarity Games and several Formual1 races on supervisory positions. Participating at activities of the local NGOs and those initiated by government, I was offered a position of International Representative at “Ireli”. After that I went to many events around the world and had chance to learn in practice things that are never thought. Soon I was promoted to International Relations Manager, and all what I had benefited inspired me to take more steps. At the same time, with my friends we re-established Erasmus Student Network in Baku, then I also joined Young European Ambassadors initiative run by the ‘EU NEIGHBOURS east’. Currently I am also an Emergency Mobile Volunteer Team Leader in Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society and the International Committee of the Red Cross and a Senior Marshal in Baku Marshals Club.
Currently I am able to make productive steps towards my goals, but I am sure that have potential to do much more. I believe that International trade studies will become an enhancement for the implementation of the ideas I assess necessary not only for our community but for the whole region. The IT program has a very rich and versatile structure that covers study of regional interrelations I want to advance. At the same time, the prestige of the university with its outstanding professors is very significant for my future career. As well, your university provides an opportunity of learning through mobility, with its advantageous language options. Therefore, I believe that all the knowledge and experience I own makes me a valuable contribution to the course.
This qualification will assist me to conduct work through international organizations like the offices of United Nation, Council of Europe, OSCE or others, that I wish to work for. I aspire to structurally analyze existing challenges within our society and European community in general, especially those rooted in International Cooperation, then with comprehension of them to seek solutions and plans for their implementation. I appreciate the value of International as one of the most momentous issues delivered during the course in interrelation with parallel courses.
As well, I believe that your university is a perfect place for studying International Relations field, since your University has dedicated services helping young graduates to enter international organizations. To be honest, the program grabbed my attention because of there are few Universities where offers varied subjects in one program as a master degree.
Therefore, dear committee, I would be honored if you decide to accept my candidateship for Master of International trade. In the same time, I am aware of possible challenges and high investments of effort I will have to place in order to successfully complete this course.
Thank you for considering my application.
