I once read a research paper entitled " Overview of Active Flow Control on Internet" which introduced me to the flow control techniques, and how they helped to reduce drag, increase lift and reduce noise level. The complexity of the control techniques has challenged me, and I became certain that I wanted to specialize in the field of flow control. Many big organizations such as NASA are investing in research pertaining to flow control mechanisms. In future, I would like to work for such organisations as a researcher. To be more specific I would like to study the flow control in high-speed vehicles by employing techniques such as plasma actuation or laser energy deposition. In 10-15 years’ time I see myself working for a research organisation, working to improve efficiency on high-speed vehicles such as missiles or re-entry vehicles using flow control techniques. After going through the program structure of your esteemed University, I am sure that i will be able to gain so much knowledge about my course which will surely help me in my career ahead.
