I have completed my Bachelors of Sciences in Earth-Sciences from COMATS institute of information and technology, (Abbottabad) which is a reputed institute in the field of research and new emerging sciences. Overall I studied more than 40 subjects with good grades and in final year I conduct my Research project on “Seismic data plotting, and structural interpretation of Meyal Oil Field Pakistan", Obtaining 73 percentage in my four year program. The passion of study, learning modern skills & methodologies to explore Hydrocarbon reserves and to excel in Petroleum industry of Pakistan led me to take the decision of doing Masters in the newborn field of Geophysics “Seismic, processing and interpretation” As my B.S thesis is also based on these three methods of seismic.

I completed my undergraduate degree under supervision of Assistant professor of Dr. Siddique Akhtar Ahsan. He gave also me an opportunity to practice the learned skills of mine, where i felt the importance of a Geophysicist in the field of Petroleum industry. Geophysicist is the only person in petroleum exploration industry who can understand the pattern of Petroleum reservoir and can accurately locate the position for a new well and according to the petroleum industry's experts he is having a key role in petroleum exploration.

During my four year of education i a studied lots of subjects regarding geology and geophysics i.e. Petroleum geology, structural geology, sedimentology and Exploration geophysics I and Exploration geophysics II, Borehole geophysics, Seismic stratigraphy, and seismology etc.

As this University is among the best Universities and has been highly recommended for Geophysics (Petroleum exploration). It provides an outstandingly high level and quality education. My extreme desire is to get higher education in Earth Sciences (Geophysics) from this university and i want to pursue as a profession in Geosciences later in Pakistan.
