Dear Renmin admission committee, it is my great desire to take part to the semester long language course offered by your university because I want to further strengthen my proficiency of the Chinese language and to deepen my knowledge of Chinese language. This course represents for me a stepping stone towards the admission for a M.A. degree in “politics and cultures of East-Asia” at some of the most prestigious and demanding universities in Germany. As a matter of fact, the attendance of the Chinese language course will de facto give me the opportunity to be admitted at the M.A. courses for which I have so long studied both during my B.A. program and independently. I would be infinitely tankful if you accept me at this course, thus giving me the opportunity to follow my dream of becoming an expert of China and Chinese language so that one day I will contribute in building bridges between East and West.
